This policy explains how Digital Signature Certificates and any associated USB tokens are delivered, and how refunds are handled.
1. General information
All orders are subject to product availability and successful verification by the Certifying Authority. If a certificate cannot be issued or an item is not available after payment, we will notify you and refund the amount using the original method of payment. Refunds may take 5–7 business days to be credited to your original source account.
2. Digital delivery of the certificate
A Digital Signature Certificate is delivered electronically. Once your application is approved by the Certifying Authority, the certificate can be downloaded to a compatible FIPS-certified USB crypto token. Please download and store an approved certificate within 30 days of approval; after 30 days the certificate becomes invalid and a fresh application is required.
3. Delivery location & time (USB token)
Physical USB tokens are delivered only to addresses with Indian PIN codes. An estimated delivery time is provided once your order is placed; delivery times are estimates that commence from the date of shipping rather than the date of order. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we make every effort to dispatch within 7 business days. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding holidays; we do not ship on Sundays. Delivery dates may vary due to carrier practices, delivery location and the items ordered.
4. Shipping costs
We currently provide free shipping across India for standard orders. Additional shipping charges may apply to remote areas, to overseas addresses (for foreign certificates), or for expedited delivery; any such charges will be advised before payment. GST is charged as per standard terms.
5. Refund & cancellation
Because a Digital Signature Certificate is a personalised digital product issued by a Certifying Authority, a request for cancellation or refund can be considered only before the certificate has been issued/downloaded. Once a certificate is issued, it cannot be cancelled or refunded. Government/Certifying Authority charges and USB token costs, once incurred, are non-refundable. Where a refund is approved, it is processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
